Class Description

This course examines theological, biblical, and historical foundations for Christian mission. Practices and models of mission, both historical and contemporary, are analyzed and critiqued. Students will develop and articulate a theology of mission appropriate for local congregations. This course is designed to meet various denominations requirements for mission, including that of the United Methodist Church.
