Class Description

Christians know that Christ died for the good, the bad, and the ugly. Likewise, his genealogy reflects the same. It includes individuals who were extremely ugly in their behaviors.

In this 5 week course, you’ll examine some of the lesser-known ancestors of Christ’s genealogy. We’ll read selected scriptures from Genesis, Exodus, Numbers, Kings and Chronicles, as well as a few other books of the Bible to learn more about Jesus’ ancestors. As we read, you’ll have the opportunity to determine whether you think the characters were good, bad, or ugly.
