The Rev. Dr. Kyung Hee Sa is currently the Dover District Superintendent of the Peninsula-Delaware Conference, the first Korean American woman district superintendent of the conference. She has developed the District Strategic Leadership Team to nurture missional strategists/coaches among clergy and laity. She is the first DS at the Cabinet of the Pen-Del Conference who earned an Associate Certified Coach accreditation by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She has empowered the clergy and the laity in 100 churches of her district and to grow churches’ vitality. Through her 20-year-long ministry under cross-racial, cross-cultural appointments, she has developed the skills of how to increase intercultural competency in the life of each congregation. She believes in peace-building in an active, proactive manner rather than passive and reactive peace-keeping in the church. To that end, she has been raising the movement of the restoration of corporate prayer life in the churches, as well as facilitation and mediation for the transformation of church conflicts. She is continuing to practice coaching toward the level of Professional Certified Coach (PCC).
