Rev. Martha Taylor is an ordained United Methodist deacon serving in the Arkansas Annual Conference. Prior to responding to her call to deacon ministry, Martha had a successful career in healthcare marketing and public relations. She served from 2006-2017 on the Arkansas Conference staff as the Director of Communications and conference storyteller. During that time, she developed strategic plans for the conference’s Imagine No Malaria campaign and helped launch the 200,000 Reasons to Fight Childhood Hunger in Arkansas initiative. In 2018, she began serving outside the church walls in a ministry of her own design that combines two of her passions: horses and helping clergy and laity become better leaders and communicators. EquiDiscovery (www.EquiDiscovery.com) engages clergy, laity and ministry teams in transformative leadership development utilizing proven assessment tools, professional coaching and experiential equine facilitated learning activities. Martha is a certified Equine Experiential Education Specialist and a certified clergy coach through Coaching4Clergy and the International Coach Federation (ACC level).
